4 Roads URL Link Extensions is a free plugin that provides extensions to allow the web pages adjust URL links in user generated content.

Use this plugin to correct your community site's http/s issues, target any offsite links to open in a new browser window or convert your site's links to lowercase.

How to install this plugin?

1. Make sure your site's Job service is running.
2. From the Administration Panel, go to .
3. From the list in next panel look for '4 Roads - URL Link Extensions'.
4. Tick the checkbox 'Enabled' and click save.

How to use this plugin?

1. Once you have enabled the plugin, make sure you refresh your site's page for the changes to be applied.
2. This free plugin contains 3 options to control links within content:
   
   
   
   Match URI Scheme:
   This will check each of site's links to match the URI scheme of your community site, ie if the site is being access through HTTPS then any absolute links that are in the content will be changed to match.
   
   Target Blank:
   This will check each offsite links in the user content (and if enabled) make every link open in the new browser window.
   
   Lowercase:
   This will convert each of your website's link to lowercase excluding query strings and anchor values since they are case sensitive.
