We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of Engagement Orchestration (EO) and Knowledge Management Enterprise (KME) 2022R4 for on-premise installations.
This release delivers key improvements which impact configuration, behaviour and general usage. Highlights below:
- Updates affecting both EO and KME:
- Accessibility:
- A new accessible time input component can be enabled for the application. This component is fully accessible using the JAWS screen reader. The time input component is available when accessibility mode is turned on or can be enabled using a new property set through the Tenant Properties Service API.
- System Configuration:
- The application now uses AES 256 algorithm for encryption.
- Health endpoints for multiple product components have been updated to be more consistent.
- Script Reporting:
- A new reporting domain has been added for Scripting, alongside out of the box Script reports.
- A new Script Report - Read Entitlement has been added to the system and assigned to the System Admin and KMAdmin Profiles.
- Jasper Upgrade
- The version of Jasper included with the product has been upgraded to 8.0.2.
- APIs:
- A new Searchable Business Artifact Service API has been added.
- A new Script Service API has been added.

- A new leadContact field has been added to the Unified Data Gateway API. The leadContact field can be used to return the details of the Contact associated with the lead email for an email thread.

- New fields have been added to the Knowledge Reporting datasets.
- Segmentation:
- The following business artifacts used in EO and KME are now indexed using Solr and have improved search capabilities in the relevant administration screens. These artifacts can be tagged using a specific Tagset which affects whether an artifact is returned when filtering on the administration screens or when trying to add it to a Content Item:

- Assets
- Attachments
- Feedback Codes
- Feedback Outcome Codes
- New system properties have been added to allow configuration of the Tagsets used to filter Scripts and Templates, and to configure the base Tagset used for Segmentation functionality. These properties can be set using the Tenant Properties Service API.
- The Manage Content Sources screen has been updated to allow Knowledge Administrators to manually trigger the searchable business artifact indexes.
- A new batch process has been added to index the searchable business artifacts.
- The following business artifacts used in EO and KME are now indexed using Solr and have improved search capabilities in the relevant administration screens. These artifacts can be tagged using a specific Tagset which affects whether an artifact is returned when filtering on the administration screens or when trying to add it to a Content Item:
