Identity Providers (IdPs) use groups to organize multiple users with similar responsibilities, tasks, or job descriptions. If your IdP provides group details to Identity Management, the portal shows a list of the groups shared by the IdP under User Management. The list shows group names, associated identifiers, and creation dates.
The Groups list is available only if your IdP shares one or more groups. Verint can receive group details from IdPs using SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management).
Group membership
If Identity Management receives group information from your IdP, each profile under Users in User Management also includes details of group membership.
From group details under User Groups, Identity Management administrators can identify the Verint products a user can access, and view membership of other groups shared by the IdP. A tick next to a group indicates that the user belongs to the group.
